Treat all colleagues well, do not gloat and do not gossip!
Introduce yourself in a few sentences..
My name is Eva Kikerzova and I have been working in
journalism for 22 years. For several years, I have also been a family mediator – I resolve disputes
between people.
What did you dream of becoming in your childhood?
Sports journalist.
At what age did you earn your first money? Tell us an interesting story?
At 11 years old. My grandmother sold furniture in a store and we made bath sponges from the foam for the furniture. I sold 11 pieces in 1 hour.
What are the main factors and examples that shape us as individuals at an earlier age
and form our interests? What is your recipe for curiosity, sources
and wells of information and inspiration at this stage of our human development?
I read encyclopedias. My favorite topics were geographical. A large
part of my knowledge comes from those books. My desire was to visit all
the places I read about, and that’s how my passion for traveling was born.
Has there been any significant difference in your perceptions in a more mature age about what motivates you
to do or not do something?
I wouldn’t say so.
Whose decision was it where to pursue higher education and what to study? Was that decision correct,
looking at it from today’s perspective?
It was mine and I am very satisfied.
Share with us more about your interests, knowledge, skills, and hobbies?
I love to cook. I love to travel. I also love to read
medical articles. I don’t know why 😄
Would you change your profession today and which fields of activity capture your interest?
I would try something new, yes. I like real estate brokerage. Besides, six years ago I completed training to become a mediator and
specialized in family mediation, due to my positive experience with my separation
from my ex-husband.
They say that personal branding is everything that people say about you when you are not in the same room with them. What would you like to hear today?
That I am a good person.
Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and flexibility, as well as our soft skills are
key conditions for success in recent years. How do you cope with
daily life challenges to stay in good shape and
mood?
I am naturally in a good mood. There aren’t many things that
can bring me down.
What are the most important conclusions you have drawn so far about maintaining proper
communication considering the different personalities of the people you meet
daily – colleagues, friends, close ones?
I treat all colleagues well and I never gloat or
gossip about anyone.
What do you think about money? What is their influence on your life? What is your advice to
people who often ask themselves questions related to money and how sufficient they are?
Money for me is freedom and opportunity. I love them and I love to
earn them myself.
What is the most valuable career advice you would give to people?
To be disciplined and consistent.
