Together we can achieve more. Teamwork, support, and a common goal are at the heart of everything we do!
Introduce yourself in a few words..
My name is Lyudmila Romanova and for two years I have been part of the Bulgarian software company CloudCart, where I hold the position of HR Manager. My role is focused on ensuring that employees feel motivated, valued, and supported, while the company is satisfied with the results and engagement of the team. I believe that when both sides feel heard and seen, growth comes naturally.
Tell us about the philosophy and values of the company you are currently working for?
Our philosophy is based on the belief that together we can achieve more. Teamwork, support, and a common goal are at the heart of everything we do. The success of the client is also our success – this is how we approach both our daily communication and our strategic decisions.
How long have you been working at the current company?
What are the main motivating factors that keep you there? I have been at CloudCart for about two years. What keeps and motivates me daily is the sense of purpose – I see the real results of my work both in the people and in the development of the company. I have the freedom to use my strengths and actively contribute to the culture and growth of the organization.
If you had to recommend the company to your acquaintances or friends, what would you share with them to attract their attention?
I would tell them that this is a dynamic and developing company with exceptional people – colleagues who are first and foremost real personalities, and then great professionals. We have the funniest TikTok videos, and our team buildings sometimes even include making lyutenitsa – in our style, with mood and team energy.
What does your company do to organize a constructive and fruitful working environment for everyone?
Should we be friends with our colleagues? We work in a relatively small team where everyone knows each other well. This creates closeness and natural friendships, which is both an advantage and a challenge. We strive to maintain balance – between personal relationships and professional standards, between flexibility and clear rules. The most important thing is that we hear each other and adapt together.
Tell us a little more about your responsibilities in the company? What makes you enjoy going to work? How do you cope with difficult and tense moments?
In addition to administrative tasks, I actively participate in strategic planning and implementing organizational changes. My main goal is for people to feel good and to know that their voice matters. In tense moments, I rely on calmness, a rational approach, and not acting under the influence of emotions. And my biggest motivator is the team – I come to work with pleasure every day because I know I will be among people I truly enjoy working with.
What work model does your company adhere to – office or remote?
We work in a hybrid model, which allows us to maintain flexibility and balance between time in the office and at home. For us, this is the most sustainable model in the long term.
What are the advantages in your specific case and position?
I know everyone in the company personally, which allows me to make more informed and considerate decisions. We always seek balance together – between the needs of the business and the individual perspective of each team member.
What have you managed to seriously improve in your work over time in this company?
I have developed better organization and improved my emotional intelligence. Working at CloudCart has taught me to act with more patience, empathy, and strategic clarity
How important is hierarchy and what does it mean to you?
Hierarchy is necessary when it is related to responsibility and clarity in processes. It is important to have authorities and structure because it provides stability and facilitates decision-making. At the same time, good communication and human relations do not depend on position.
What is your career advice for all people who are building a strategy for their professional development?
To believe in themselves, to give themselves time, and not to give up at the first challenge. Success requires patience, consistency, and the courage to follow your path, even when you do not yet see the finish line.
