Introduce yourself with a few ..
My name is Zlatina Yakmadjieva and since May 2023 I have held the position of Marketing
manager for Bulgaria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic at Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on patient recruitment
campaigns for clinical trials. At the end of May 2025, the company's new project will launch – Trialmed, and with it my role transforms on a global level. I now hold the
position of Manager Recruitment Strategy, responsible for building effective patient recruitment strategies
worldwide.
How many years
have you completed in the company? How do you feel in
it and what does
this stage mean for you?
It has already been two
years since I became part of the organization, and I can say that this has been
an extremely dynamic and transformative period. The current stage is particularly significant
for me – it shows recognition for what has been achieved so far and opens new horizons
for professional development on a global level.
What are
some of the most memorable moments or achievements from your time here so far?
Among
my most memorable achievements is the successful implementation of large-scale
campaigns for Bulgaria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, which not only met the goals but also
showed how strong the connection can be between patients and medical
innovations when we work with care, empathy, and a personal approach.
Also,
my recognition and transition to a global role in the new project is a key moment that shows the trust
and support of the company for my development.
What motivates you
to stay and develop specifically in this organization?
This is a company where people have a voice,
ideas are heard, and efforts are appreciated. The environment here is dynamic but supportive.
I am fortunate to work with a wonderful international
team of professionals you can rely on. This enriches me greatly and
not only in a professional aspect. This is a place that not only challenges you,
but also gives you the resources to succeed.
How has your
professional path changed from day one until now – and what has it taught you?
My professional
path began in the scientific field as a molecular biologist, where I built a foundation
of analytical thinking and attention to detail. Gradually, I shifted towards
marketing and product management in the pharma industry, where I developed
strategic thinking, communication skills, and experience working with various
markets. Over time, I transitioned from local to international projects, and
today I have the opportunity to build global patient recruitment strategies.
This journey taught me adaptability, empathy, and the importance of a holistic approach.
What are your
aspirations moving forward – both for yourself and for the team or company you are part
of?
My aspiration is to
contribute to establishing the new project as a leading global partner in clinical
research, providing real solutions for both patients and
sponsors. For myself – I aim to continue developing as a leader who brings
value through vision, experience, and dedication.
