When I'm on the road, my mind clears

Travel has changed my attitude towards money – I realized that I prefer to invest in experiences and creating memories rather than in things!
Hello!
My name is Lili Sucheva, I am an actress. I graduated from the National
Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Krasteo Sarafov" and since then I have been working in
film and theater – in Bulgaria and beyond.
For me, traveling the world is life – it gives me meaning,
makes me happy, and makes me trulyi
appreciate the beauty of the moment.
I have visited quite a few countries, mainly in Europe. My husband
and I love to gift each other a trip at least once a year. We adore
discovering new places, getting to know the culture, sights, and
customs of the countries we visit.
I have many favorite moments from my travels, I can't think of anything
specific at the moment, but what could be better than strolling through the romantic
streets of some Italian city, sitting at a restaurant, and a musician playing the
mandolin while we enjoy the romance of the place...
In general, I love discovering new places and meeting new
people – there is a thrill in that. In Rome, for example, I always return with great
affection and desire.
I can't say that any specific trip has changed me
professionally. In my work, I constantly meet people from all over the world – in
foreign productions I participate in – so whether I am in
Bulgaria or outside of it, these encounters with different cultures always enrich me. If
I have to share something specific – I recently filmed a movie in England and had a
great time.
At this stage, I have not yet met someone who has changed
my career path during a trip, but I would gladly welcome that to
happen.
When trips are for work purposes, they always contribute to
expanding the professional network. Meetings with different people, exchanging ideas
and experiences are of immense benefit and can lead to future joint projects.
When I'm on the road, I become more organized and more open to
new meetings – my mind clears.
I still haven't had an idea for a new project born during a
trip, but I hope that will happen soon!
Of course, everything depends on the specific country and atmosphere.
Sometimes I completely give myself to relaxation, becoming laid-back and distracted, but other times
a trip can be extremely motivating and inspiring.
Italy always acts as a "restart" for me.
I love when I travel for work to find a balance between
obligations and pleasure. I think I manage it well – that is also the
nature of my profession.
Travel has changed my attitude towards money – I realized
that I prefer to invest in experiences and creating memories rather than
in things.
I have not traveled with the aim of seeking new ways to earn
money.
As an actress, I am not tied to a specific place where I would
develop a new idea – what matters more are the people with whom I share common values and
inspiration.
There are so many beautiful and unique places that deserve to
be visited. As I already said – Italy is my great love. There I truly
manage to rest and relax.
I would advise artists and creators to travel, to admire the
art created thousands of years before us – this always
inspires.
