Being humane is not a sign of weakness, but a life message

My name is Maria Ivanova and I am a Marketing manager at Interagri Bulgaria, the official importer of New Holland - a global innovation leader in AgTech with over 125 years of history. I believe in the power of communication built on trust, content, and meaning - not only in marketing but also in life.

How do you feel on your birthday and what do you associate with the beginning of this new personal year for you?
On my birthday, I feel grateful for the people around me, for the lessons, for the path I have traveled, as well as for the opportunity to start a new personal year with more clarity and confidence. I believe that every new year is a chance to be more conscious in your choices about how you live, work, and love.

Which moment from the past year would you define as the most meaningful or transformative in a personal and/or professional sense?

I believe that the business I am engaged in carries meaning, sustainability, and is in complete harmony with my personal values and goals. The year is filled with valuable moments for me, which contribute to my personal and professional growth.

With gratitude and motivation, I participated in a specialized program for leadership and sales skills with NLP focus, which unlocked a new level of awareness, confidence, and effectiveness in communication.

I also joined a voluntary mentoring program, which gave me the opportunity to challenge and enhance my leadership skills while simultaneously giving and receiving value through sharing personal experience.

Today I feel that I am even more connected to myself, to my goals and beliefs, I am learning, I am developing, and I believe that inspiration is transmitted through personal example.

What career objectives do you set for your new life year?
For my new personal year, I set a goal to develop sustainability through personal example, to communicate with empathy, to act with a clear vision, and to build an environment of mutual trust, both personally and professionally.

What is the most valuable career lesson that life has taught you so far?
The most valuable career lesson I have received is that success is not measured only by results, but by integrity, courage, and consistency over time. People will remember not what you told them, but how they felt around you.

What do you wish for yourself and what would you like to inspire in others through your personal example?
I wish to maintain my inner honesty and direction. And through my personal example, I would like to inspire more women and not only to be bold, to not apologize for their strength, and to believe that the compatibility between humanity and success is not a utopia, but an opportunity that each of us can build.
