When people see the logic and direction, they start to participate in the change instead of just enduring it!
New
position: Chief
Marketing Officer (CMO)
Company: Cloud Office
Introduce yourself in a few sentences and highlight key points from your career development so far?
I am a marketing expert with over 20 years of experience in the IT
sector, focusing for most of my career on product companies that develop their own software. I have participated in
launching and developing products in international markets, led
global teams, and worked closely with various functions in organizations to
achieve real business results. It is important for me that marketing brings tangible
and measurable value, whether it is about revenue growth, better
partnerships, or stronger brand positioning. Since the beginning of June 2025, I
joined the Cloud Office team as Chief Marketing Officer.
What motivates you
to take on this new role and what are your main goals in the position?
I choose to direct my experience and energy towards
companies that develop their own technological solutions and know-how, and when
this happens in Bulgaria, my motivation is even stronger. I see huge
potential for positioning our company as a reliable partner for businesses
looking for a sustainable way to use cloud technologies and innovations in
AI. My main goal is to build a recognizable brand, not only locally but also
in the broader regional context.
What
professional or personal qualities do you think will help you succeed
in your new position?
I believe that the combination of strategic
thinking, technological expertise, and the ability to lead people will be crucial
for my success. I can analyze the situation in depth, prioritize, and
translate the complex into clear language. I have experience managing international
marketing teams and projects, which has taught me how to build trust, even in
a dynamic and often uncertain environment. Additionally, I am someone who approaches
challenges with flexibility and constructiveness – for me, every difficulty
is also an opportunity to learn something new.
What
challenges do you expect to face and how do you approach change management?
Change almost always meets resistance, even
when it is obviously necessary. What I have learned from experience is that open
and consistent dialogue is the most important. I approach concerns with respect and
am ready to explain the “why” and “what’s next.” When people see the logic and
direction, they start to participate in the change instead of just enduring it. For
me, this is the key – to turn change into a collaborative process, not something
that is “imposed from the outside.”
What is
your approach to teamwork and building a strong internal culture?
A good team is built on trust, and a strong
culture is built on shared values and a clear sense of common purpose. I believe that when
people feel that their work makes sense and that they are part of something bigger, they
give their best. As a leader, I strive to create an environment where
everyone can express ideas, learn, and grow, to be part of a company with
sustainable success.
What
would you like people to say about you in the company after a few months?
That I have brought clarity, energy, and focus. That
things are happening more predictably, visibly, and effectively. And most importantly, that
we have made a significant step forward in how the company is perceived externally:
as a technology expert and innovative partner you can rely on.
