I try to listen to and understand people, to put myself in their shoes

Take risks – sometimes in life you have to jump. Even if you fall, at least you will know that you tried. And you might even fly!

Introduce yourself in a few sentences.

My name is Stanislava Simidchiyska. If I had to describe myself in a few words, I would choose: mother, wife, business owner, book lover, and culinary enthusiast.

I am a co-founder of the digital agency CopyVibes, which this month (June 2025 – ed. note) turned 7 years old. We created it together with my husband – Konstantin Simidchiyski. Over the years, we have built a wonderful team with whom we digitize our creative ideas daily.

Our strength is content – video and text. Our main services are focused on short-form videos for social media (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and comprehensive content for the social media themselves.

We work with various businesses – both in the Bulgarian and international markets.

What did you dream of becoming in your childhood?

A journalist and/or writer. In a way, I have fulfilled both. I started as an intern-editor in a media outlet at the age of 20, and by 25 I was already the editor-in-chief. Writing has always been a part of my life, so I would conditionally add the second profession. Our agency is focused on marketing through content, which makes the thread even stronger.

At what age did you earn your first money? Tell us an interesting story.

I was about 14–15 years old. Every Sunday I sold newspapers – a business publication that came out on Monday but could be picked up a day earlier from the editorial office. Together with my brother, we roamed the streets and parks, offering it to the most impatient readers. We received coins for each copy sold.

What are the main factors that shape us as individuals at an early age? What is your "recipe" for curiosity and inspiration during this period?

It depends on the child. My personal development went through books – from them, I learned what I want (or do not want) to be, what I want to achieve. This, of course, is not a universal path. Everyone must discover their own sources of inspiration, rather than follow accepted models.

Has anything changed in what motivates you as you age?

Not particularly. I have never believed that something must be achieved at any cost, and I am proud of that. I have my boundaries and respect the boundaries of others. I have always strived to do what is in sync with my inner world. I believe that a person must be in harmony with themselves to convey that to others.

Whose decision was it where to study and what to pursue in your higher education?

Entirely mine. I had favorite journalists whose biographies inspired me – most of them had graduated in Bulgarian Philology. That’s how my choice was born. I loved Bulgarian Language and Literature, studied in a language high school – the transition was natural.

During my studies at Sofia University, I often joked that while people read when they have time, I read because I would be tested. I am grateful that I studied in depth Ancient, Medieval, Western European, Old Bulgarian, and Slavic literature. Today I often say that I have read the classics and now I can read whatever I want.

Later, I continued with a major in "Journalism and Media". Maybe I could have done without it, but I wanted to peek inside this field.

Was this choice correct, looking back?

Yes.

Share more about your interests, knowledge, and hobbies.

I am developing a business in the field of digital marketing – a dynamic and changing environment that requires constant adaptation. Outside of my profession, my interests are related to the arts – literature, cinema, and I would add, culinary arts.

After I turned 35, I started paying more attention to my inner peace. Yoga and other practices found their place in my daily life.

Would you change your profession and what fields attract you?

I feel good in the field of creativity – from media to digital agency. At this stage, I would not make a radical change. But if I decide to develop in a new direction, I would choose psychology – I find it extremely interesting.

What would you like people to say about you when you are not in the room?

The most important thing for me is to be perceived as a person who can be relied upon and who keeps their word. All other qualities, no matter how flattering they are, have value only when recognized by my family, colleagues, and partners.

How do you cope with daily challenges to stay in good shape and mood?

I seek first inner, then outer balance. I try to listen to and understand people, to put myself in their shoes. It is easy to judge when we look "from our own bell tower", but in life – as well as in the media – it is important to see the picture from different perspectives before acting.

What do you think about money and its significance in your life? What would you advise people who often worry about it?

Health comes first, but money plays a key role in maintaining it – from prevention to treatment. We should not underestimate their importance. Outside of human relationships, which cannot be measured in money, they are a means for a more fulfilling life – from basic needs to personal development.

How much is "enough" – that is individual. For me, enough is as much as meets my needs.

What is the most valuable career advice you would give?

Do what you are good at – it will be easier and more enjoyable. And take risks – sometimes in life you have to jump. Even if you fall, at least you will know that you tried. And you might even fly.
