I wish to be successful, to have true friends I can rely on

Hello, my name is Evgeni Karakanovski and I am engaged in telecommunications and information technology. I run a software company PT FIRST WAP INTERNATIONAL, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

How do you feel on your birthday and what do you associate with the beginning of this new personal year for you?

Thank you for your greeting and the opportunity to introduce myself on your platform. Today I feel great because I will be with my closest people and friends, and because I am satisfied with the past year. With the team, we achieved successes in the set goals despite the many projects and the complexity of the tasks set. This is also the most important thing for me; to work in a team with which we can congratulate each other on successfully completed work and to have close friends with whom to live fully in my free time. I wish everyone to be successful and to be with their friends to enjoy their achievements.

Which moment from the past year would you define as the most meaningful or transformative in personal and/or professional terms?

I think there are quite a few, but let me mention this moment with the most meaning for me; the moment when one of our clients showed us that they perceive us as their partner, not as their supplier. This was a moment when the client expressed full trust in the team and in our services. The feeling of achieving such respect from a client is amazing.

What career goals are you setting for your new life year?

The goals are to further improve the team and achieve the set goals in the company, as well as to start offering a new product or service in our or adjacent business area. It is also important for me to continue helping in the development of selected young colleagues who have potential and show a desire to develop successfully. Another reason that makes me feel successful is the realization of my former and current colleagues whom I have helped and trained.

What is the most valuable career lesson that life has taught you so far?

Again, there are so many that I wonder which to mention. Whether it is that you must constantly learn to keep up with life and technology, or that as a young person you need to find a good boss who will teach you how to work, or a professional environment in which to develop, whether it is that being honest and keeping your promises makes colleagues respect and value you, or that the experiences and achievements of other successful people can teach you what you can achieve for yourself and have the will to do so. I have strived to draw the right lessons for me from the teams and people with whom we have worked together over the years and to find my path and my realization.

What do you wish for yourself and what would you like to inspire in others through your personal example?

I wish to be successful, to have true friends I can rely on, and to be part of a team that is developing. I wish to continue my happy life, to achieve meaningful goals for me, to learn new things, and to help colleagues who want to develop and be successful. I wish for the people who will read my answers to seek and find something more than what they have achieved to be satisfied with themselves. Be happy.
