If you confuse the role, things won't go well for you, regardless of your efforts

Find out which role you feel best in – entrepreneur or employee. This is the starting point!
Introduce yourself in a few sentences..
My name is
Alexandra Ruseva and I am the creator of Ovee – a brand dedicated to women's
reproductive health. I believe that access to information, quality products, and
timely support can change not just one personal story, but also a
future. My work combines entrepreneurship with a cause and personal experience that has
taught me that every difficulty can be a starting point for something meaningful.
My main focus is on products for women who have reproductive
challenges.
What did you dream of becoming in your childhood?
Even as a child,
I dreamed of becoming a doctor. I imagined how I help people, how I find
solutions where others give up. However, life put me in a situation where I had to
work and study at the same time, so instead of medicine, I enrolled in
economics. Nevertheless, the desire to be part of the health world never
left me – it just turned out that my path to it was different.
At what age did you earn your first money? Share with us
some interesting story?
At 16 years old,
I led a modeling school in my hometown for one of the big modeling agencies.
I worked with girls my age, teaching them confidence, discipline, and how
to present themselves confidently in front of an audience. That was when I first felt how strong
a woman can be when she believes in herself – a realization that is at
the core of everything I do today.
What are the main factors and examples that shape us
as individuals at an early age and form our interests? What is your
recipe for curiosity, sources of information, and inspiration at this stage of our human development?
Curiosity,
the environment we grow up in, strong examples around us, as well as the opportunity to
ask questions and seek meaning – all of this shapes us. For me, the interest
in topics about the body, health, and emotional resilience began to
form in my earlier years. I have always needed to understand how
the human body functions, how hormonal balance works, why sometimes
processes that seem natural turn into a struggle. This directed me towards
my long-term interest in women's health, including reproductive
aspects, as a field that needs more attention and understanding.
Has there been any significant change in your perceptions
in a more mature age regarding what motivates you to do or not do something?
Not really. Both
then and now, I am driven by the need to find solutions and help. However, over the years,
the scale and depth have changed – today I work not just on specific
cases, but on a comprehensive mission that aims to provide value and meaning.
Whose decision was it where to pursue higher education and
what to study? Was that decision correct, viewed from today’s perspective?
The decision was
entirely mine. I did not have the opportunity to study regularly, so I enrolled in Finance
part-time – a field that is prestigious, flexible, and allowed me to work
concurrently. Today, I believe that this decision was correct because it gave me a stable
foundation, skills, and discipline with which I started my first business. And it was this that gave me the opportunity
later to finance a project with a cause that I deeply believe in.
Share more about your interests, knowledge, skills, and
hobbies?
I am interested in
healthcare, the science behind dietary supplements, as well as alternative and
holistic approaches to prevention. I love reading scientific research, talking to
doctors and specialists, but also listening to the stories of real people –
they are my greatest inspiration. My hobby is closely related to
my work – to make the complex accessible and to create products and
content that provide real benefits.
Would you change your profession today and which fields of
activity capture your interest?
I would not change
my profession as an "entrepreneur" because it gives me the freedom to choose
the areas in which I create value. Currently, I am in healthcare, but nothing
prevents me from combining my cause with education or technology tomorrow.
I like the dynamics, but most of all – the opportunity to be useful.
They say that personal branding is everything that people say
about you when you are not in the same room with them. What would you like to hear
today?
That whatever I do,
I do it with attention, care, and attention to detail. That I am a person who
can be relied upon, who does not make unnecessary promises but always delivers more
than expected. For me, trust is not declared – it is earned through consistency
and results.
Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and flexibility,
as well as our soft skills, are key conditions for success in recent
years. How do you cope with the daily challenges of life to
stay in good shape and mood?
With the awareness that
I cannot give if I do not take care of myself. I try to find time for
small things that recharge me – silence, a walk, a conversation with a close person.
I am learning to choose my battles and not to be available for everything and everyone, so
that I can stay in shape.
What are the most important conclusions you have drawn so far about
maintaining proper communication considering the different characters of the people
you meet daily – colleagues,
friends, relatives?
I have learned to listen
more and speak less. I believe that when people feel heard and
respected, they respond in the same way. I try to be clear, calm, and
consistent – both in business and in personal relationships. And I always
strive to give more than is expected of me.
What do you think about money? What is their influence on
your life? What is your advice to people who often ask themselves questions
related to money and how sufficient they are?
Money is just an
instrument. When you have enough, they stop being a goal and become a means.
For me, they have value only when they serve something greater – an idea, a cause, a change.
My advice is simple: earn enough money so that they are not a factor in
your decisions. True satisfaction comes when money helps you create
meaning.
What is the most valuable career advice you would give to
people?
Find out which role
you feel best in – entrepreneur or employee. This is the starting point. If
you confuse the role, things won't go well for you, regardless of your efforts. But if you are in
the right place – everything falls into place easily. And when you are also in the right cause –
then things start to bring real value.
