Introduce yourself in a few sentences..
My name is Iliyan Ivanov.
I work at MiniFactory, Finland – a world leader in
industrial 3D printer manufacturing. My responsibilities include
sales and marketing in over 15 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, where
the company has independent partners.
How many years have you completed in the company? How do you feel about
it and what does this stage mean for you?
This year I am completing 3 years in the company. Working with my colleagues from
Finland has taught me many new things. It taught me to clearly distinguish between work
and personal commitments and to set a boundary between them.
What are the most memorable moments or achievements from
your time here so far?
During the first two years in the company, I had to travel very intensively to
the countries where we have partners. In just the first 5 months, I had over 40
flights – a challenging but productive period that brought
excellent results for everyone in the following years.
What motivates you to stay and develop specifically in
this organization?
The trust and freedom that I am granted in the company mean a lot to me.
How has your professional path changed from the first day
until now – and what has it taught you?
My work requires daily contact with numerous partners and clients from
Europe. Meeting new people has broadened my perspective and changed my approach to
work. I learned that everything should be approached with patience, and emotions
at work are best kept in the background.
What are your aspirations moving forward – both for yourself and
for the team or company that you are part of?
The aspirations – both mine and those of the company – I believe should go
hand in hand. We wish to maintain the company's leadership position and to
continue to develop – slowly but surely – forward.
