The career is a journey from managing people to inspiring human destinies

You don't need to fit into someone else's ideas of success. The true value is in staying true to yourself!

My name is Daniela Aneva. I have over 25 years of experience in the field of human resources, leadership, and coaching. I have worked in international companies in Poland, the Netherlands, and the USA, and today I am focused on helping people discover themselves and their calling.

How would you describe your career in a few words?
My career is a journey of transformation – from managing people to inspiring human destinies. Every step was a conscious choice towards deeper meaning.

What was the most important choice that shaped your path?
To leave the security of a corporate role and dive into the world of coaching. This was a decision driven by my desire to leave a deeper mark on people's lives.

What would you like to have known at the beginning of your career that no one told you?
That you don't need to fit into someone else's ideas of success. The true value is in staying true to yourself.

How can a person understand which profession is right for them?
By looking inward – at what inspires them, brings joy, and has meaning. When the work resonates with your inner compass, it doesn't weigh you down.

Which skills will be key in the next 10 years, in your opinion?
Emotional intelligence, adaptability, storytelling, working with artificial intelligence, and personal branding.

How to build a network of useful contacts without appearing interested?
By genuinely caring about people, not their positions. Connecting through value and authenticity creates lasting relationships.

What is the biggest mistake you made in your career, and what did you learn from it?
I stayed too long in an environment that did not align with my values. I learned that inner peace is more important than any title.

How to recognize a toxic work environment and when is it time to leave?
When our body starts to speak through fatigue, anxiety, and lack of joy. A toxic environment is felt physically and emotionally.

What would you have done differently if you could start over?
I would have started to trust my intuition more and believe that I am enough just as I am.

How to keep our motivation in times of stagnation?
By changing our perspective. Stagnation is often a sign of needing to recharge and rethink, not a failure.

How to achieve a balance between professional and personal life?
By allowing ourselves to be whole in every role, without sacrificing one for the sake of another. Balance is a matter of choice, not an ideal.

When is it time to change our career, not just the job?
When even the new job does not bring satisfaction, and the feeling of emptiness remains. Then it is time to listen to our soul.

If you had to give only one piece of advice to people seeking success, what would it be?
Be true to yourself. True success comes when we are in sync with our inner truth.

What is your definition of a "successful career"?
One in which you feel meaning, joy, and freedom. When work nourishes you not only financially but also emotionally and spiritually.
