Introduce
yourself in a few sentences..
My
name is Diana Stoyanova – founder and andexecutive
director of the recruitment agency “Talent Forge”. We
work on a global level, connecting exceptional talents with opportunities around the world.
Regardless of the continent, our expertise and reach ensure that we are there,
where our clients need us.
An adventurer
at heart, a seeker of inspiration and growth. I
believe that life is a journey where true growth comes from constant
upgrading – both professionally and personally. I love to
challenge myself and expand my comfort zone. Meetings with
inspiring people energize me and remind me how valuable energy and
open conversations are.
What did you dream of becoming in your childhood?
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Unfortunately,
that dream did not come true as I faint at the sight of blood, but I
often help animals in other ways.
At what age did you earn your first money? Tell us
about a curious incident?
I earned my first money during the summer vacation of second
grade. We were in the countryside with my cousins and sold linden flowers, and with the money we
bought ice cream. An extremely valuable lesson from my grandparents, and those were
still the tastiest ice creams to this day.
What are the main factors and examples that shape us
as individuals at an early age and form our interests? What is your
recipe for curiosity, sources, and wells of information and inspiration in
this stage of our human development?
I believe that the first and main factor in shaping
personality at an early age is the parents. They are the first models of behavior
that children observe – not only through words but mainly through actions.
The way they react in different situations, the values they profess, and
their attitude towards people and the world – all of this shapes the child's first
ideas of “normal,” “right,” and “possible.”
I believe that at the core of curiosity lies
the ability to ask questions and engage in conscious conversations – not just to
get answers, but to better understand ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Has there been any significant change in your perceptions
in later age about what motivates you to do or not do something?
Certainly, motivation in later age becomes
more conscious, more meaningful, and more connected to personal truth, rather than to the external world.
Whose decision was it where to pursue higher education and
what to study? Was that decision correct, looking back today?
The decision was entirely mine.
Whether it was completely right – it’s hard to
say for sure, as I believe that in relatively rare cases, a graduating student is fully oriented in
hiscareer path.
Nevertheless, I do not regret my choice. The university introduced me to wonderful
colleagues and professors, and the time spent there, remains unforgettable.
Share more about your interests, knowledge, skills, and
hobbies?
I love to
spend time in nature – this is my way to recharge and find peace. Meetings with inspiring people who
bring positive energy and view the world with an open heart are also an important part
of my personal “fuel”.
My hobbies are related to various sports, because I believe that good shape is not
only a matter of physics but also of good mood and mental resilience. Folk dances are particularly dear to me –
they recharge me not only physically but also emotionally.
Would you change your profession today and which fields of
activity capture your interest?
I would definitely not
change my profession. I have managed to combine my strength and passion in what I
do, and that brings me true satisfaction and meaning.
They say that personal branding is everything that people say
about you when you are not in the same room with them. What would you like to hear
today?
Maybe,
that I have managed to do something good for each of them and that at some point I
was that small reason that brought a smile to theiren day.
Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and flexibility, as well as our soft skills are key conditions for success in the last few years. How do you cope with the daily challenges of life to stay in good shape and mood?
I rely on a few things.
First, I try to be aware of my emotions and accept them,
without letting them overwhelm me. Second, I try to balance
between professional and personal life – I know that effectiveness comes when you can
rest and recharge properly.
And last but not least, I surround myself with positive and supportive people,
who inspire and motivate me.
What are the most important conclusions you have made so far about
maintaining proper communication considering the different characters of the people
you meet daily – colleagues,
friends, relatives?
The most important conclusion I have reached is that we are
all different and that is why we should not expect someone to react the way
we would react. Therefore,
it is crucial to show patience, give the necessary space, and
respect each individual's uniqueness.
What do you think about money? What is their influence on
your life? What is your advice to people who often ask themselves questions
related to money and how sufficient they are?
Money is an important
and necessary factor in our lives. Their influence depends on how we manage them
and what value we assign to them. My advice is to focus on whether money
allows us to live according to our values, not just on their quantity. True wealth lies in the balance between the material and what
brings us satisfaction and meaning.
What is the most valuable career advice you would give to
people?
Being busy does not mean being effective. Focus on
doing result-oriented things, not just doing more things. Time is
the most valuable resource you have.
