Introduce yourself in a few sentences and highlight
some key points from your career development so far?
My name is Krasen Kunev and I am currently the Financial Director
for Europe at TAWAL – a leading telecommunications infrastructure
provider. I have over 15 years of experience in financial management of
international companies in the telecommunications and ICT sector. I have worked
at both operational and strategic levels – I have led financial teams,
managed budgets, restructured processes, and participated in successful
mergers and acquisitions. A main focus in my career is creating added
value through the financial function, improving efficiency, and building
strong partnerships with business units.
What motivates you to take on this new role and what are
your main goals for the position?
Taking on the role of Financial Director for Europe in
the company was a strategic decision motivated by my desire to be part
of an innovative and rapidly growing company with ambitious growth plans in
Europe. The opportunity to participate in building the financial function from
the very beginning and to contribute to positioning the company as a leading player
in the region is a strong driver for me.
My main goals are related to:
- Establishing
a stable and effective financial structure in accordance with best
practices;
- Supporting
the business strategy through financial analysis and risk management;
- Ensuring
transparency and control over costs and investments;
- Building
a strong team and establishing a partnership approach towards other functions in
the organization;
- Preparing
the organization for sustainable growth and future strategic transformations.
I believe that this role gives me the opportunity not only to
apply my accumulated experience but also to continue developing as a leader in
a dynamic international environment.

your new position?
I believe that
the combination of professional experience and personal qualities will be key to
my successful performance in the new role. Among the most important qualities that will help me,

I expect

integration of systems, managing regulatory differences, and creating a strong
team. I approach change management with clear communication, engaging
people, focusing on processes, and adaptability. I believe that well-managed
change leads to sustainable success.
What is yourapproach to teamwork and building a strong internal culture?
My approach to
teamwork is based on trust, open communication, and clear
distribution of responsibilities. I strive to create an environment where people feel
