New
position:
Business Development and Innovation Director
Company: Ocean Investments
Introduce
yourself in a few sentences and highlight key points from your career development so far:
My name is Tsvetan Neychev and I have over 25 years of experience in business development,
team management, and implementing innovations in various industries. I have participated
in building and developing some of the largest retail chains in
Bulgaria – both strategically and operationally. Over the years,
I have led key projects, built brands, and created sustainable
models that combine growth, efficiency, and long-term value. I believe that
true success comes when business creates more health, happiness, and
opportunities – for people, teams, and society.
What
motivates you to accept this new role and what are your main goals in
this position?
I accepted the role because this is an organization where the business
vision goes hand in hand with deep human values. I am motivated by the opportunity
to apply my long-standing experience in strategic development and contribute to
the building of innovative projects. My main goal is to develop a strong system
for business innovations, to identify new growth opportunities, and to strengthen
the leadership position of the company through value that exceeds market
results.
What
professional or personal qualities do you think will help you succeed
in your new position?
I believe that the combination of long-standing practical experience, strategic thinking,
and a human approach is my strong point. I can lead teams through complex processes,
connect long-term goals with specific actions, and inspire by personal
example. My ability to balance between results and internal environment helps me
to create solutions that do not sacrifice the health and satisfaction of people in
favor of short-term profits.
What
challenges do you expect to face and how do you approach
change management?
I expect challenges related to implementing new models in a dynamic
environment, as well as balancing between existing processes and innovations. I approach
change as an opportunity – not through imposition, but through engagement. I talk
to people, build trust, and act step by step. I believe that when working with
a clear vision, respect, and care for the well-being of the team – including
physical and emotional health – transitions happen more easily and with lasting
effect.
What
is your approach to teamwork and building a strong internal culture?
The team is the backbone of any sustainable organization. I approach with openness,
empathy, and a focus on building trust. The work environment should encourage
both professional development and personal well-being – the happiness and
health of people are not “soft” topics, but a strategic factor for long-term
success. I believe in a culture of freedom, initiative, and responsibility, supported by
clear values and real actions.
What
would you like people to say about you in the company after a few years?
That I brought real value – not just in results, but also in culture,
direction, and attitude. That I acted with integrity, vision, and humanity. And that I
contributed to the company being not just a successful company, but
a community where health, happiness, and meaning are real, tangible, and shared.
