Introduce yourself in a few sentences..

My name is Zornitsa Ilarionova — a violinist, a traveler in the world of music, and a person who believes in the power of beauty, kindness, and art. I have been playing since I was a child, and to this day the stage is my natural place — a place where you meet yourself, where you change and grow. 

What did you dream of becoming in your childhood?

Since I was very little, I dreamed of being on stage. Not just as a violinist, but as a storyteller through music. I imagined large halls, light, but most of all the feeling that I could touch people's hearts.

At what age did you earn your first money? Tell us about an interesting incident?

It was when I was still in school — I received a fee for participating in a concert. I remember being happy not for the money itself, but for the feeling that my work has value. I bought a gift for my mother without telling her, with my first earned money.

What are the main factors and examples that shape us as a person at an early age?

The examples around us — parents, teachers, friends, books, art. In my case, my mother was an inspiring example of dedication and strength. Curiosity is born from having access to inspiring personalities and stories.

Has there been any significant change in your perceptions at a more mature age about what motivates you to do or not do something?

Yes, over the years I understand that not everything that is prestigious is meaningful. Today I am motivated by real, meaningful projects and the people who are passionate about what they do.

Whose decision was it where to pursue higher education and what to study?

Mine. Even as a child, I knew I would study music. With the support of my parents and my teachers, I made a choice for which I will always be infinitely grateful - to fate, to my family, and to my teachers, thanks to whom every step of my journey became possible.

Share more about your interests, knowledge, skills, and hobbies?

Besides classical music, I adore fashion, literature, and traveling. 

I am also interested in sports. It is inspiring to witness the amazing achievements of so many young athletes. I think that art and sports are quite similar in many ways. I like the style that tells a story — both in clothing and behavior, as well as in the way a person overcomes difficulties. 

Would you change your profession today and which fields of activity capture your interest?

I would not change it. But if one day I step away from the stage, I would stay in teaching or creating artistic projects that connect art and social responsibility.

What would you like to hear today about your personal brand?

That Zornitsa Ilarionova is an artist with a mission. That the presence on the cultural scene, as well as the music we create with my colleagues, helps people, inspires them, and makes not only our world but also theirs more meaningful and beautiful.

How do you cope with daily challenges to stay in good shape and mood?

I listen to my body, and when it needs a little rest, I try to give it that. 

Even if sometimes that means two extra hours of sleep. 

Of course, I take care of myself, but the most important thing is the environment around you - if you are among your people, with whom you vibrate at the same frequency, then even the stressful moments can seem inspiring. 

How do you maintain proper communication with people of different characters?

With patience and sensitivity. Every person has their own depth — it is important to listen between the lines, not to rush to conclusions, and to respect diversity.

What do you think about money? What is their influence on your life?

Money is a means, not an end. Good art should be sustainable — it should carry value, but also be paid fairly. My advice: invest in yourself and in things that will make sense even later.

What is the most valuable career advice you would give to people?

Stay true to your inner compass, even when the noise outside is loud. Have patience. Success is not a competition, but personal evolution.
