The true balance is not in even distribution, but in conscious presence
· Diana Stoyanova

The most important thing is not to wait for motivation to come on its own, but to act with small steps – it often returns along the way!
Introduce yourself in a few words..
I am an HR strategist with over 8 years of experience
in building effective, sustainable, and human-oriented HR practices.
I am the founder of Talent Forge Global,
where we specialize in connecting exceptional individuals with the right
career paths, building partnerships that lead to success for both
candidates and employers.
I believe that achievements are built not
only with skills and experience but also with the courage to ask the right questions of oneself – this is what has driven me forward. I strive for work that has meaning,
development, and authenticity – and I create the same conditions for the people I work with.
How would you describe your career in a few words?
Inspiration, satisfaction,
growth, achievements, development, resilience.
What was
the most important choice that shaped your path in?
The most important choice in my
career path was to answer the key questions: What truly brings me
pleasure to do? What are my strengths and what am I good at?
The answers prompted me to direct my energy and efforts towards a direction that not only
brings me satisfaction but also allows me to develop my full potential.
What would you like to know at the beginning of your career,
but no one told you?
I wouldn't say there is anything specific I would like to
know at the beginning of my career. I am happy that I managed to reach important
conclusions and insights on my own, as it was the journey I took that built many
of my qualities – both professional and personal.
How can a person understand which profession is suitable for them?
In my opinion, a person can discover the profession that suits them when they answer the
important questions that I mentioned above, and then analyze the
results. This will help them understand what the right direction is for them
What skills
according to you will be key in the next 10 years?
In my opinion, key skills will always be adaptability and the ability to
build upon, analytical thinking and effective communication. These skills will continue to be important, regardless of changes in
technology and the labor market.
How to build
a network of useful contacts without appearing interested?
First of all, we need to focus on how to be
helpful and build genuine
relationships, rather than instinctively seeking what we can gain. The network is built with time and trust,
when people feel that you are sincere and want to create value, not just to take
something.
What is
the biggest mistake you have made in your career, and what did you learn from
it?
Perhaps that at the beginning of my career I
took on too many responsibilities without setting clear boundaries. I wanted to prove myself
and help as much as possible, but this led to overload and total burnout.
This situation taught me how important it is
to prioritize my tasks and to say 'no' when necessary.
How to recognize a toxic work environment and when is it time to leave?
A toxic work environment can be recognized when
we feel a lack of motivation and satisfaction, and our values do not align with those of
the organization.
Also, if constant stress and pressure negatively affect our mental and
physical health. It is extremely important to seek an environment where you
feel valued and significant.
What would you
do differently if you could start over?
If I could
start over, I would probably choose the same path again, as it is this path that shaped me
and built me as a professional. But maybe I would be a little less trusting.
How to
maintain our motivation in times of stagnation?
By reminding ourselves
why we started this journey and what gives us satisfaction. To take a break for
recharging, talk to
an inspiring and motivating friend. And most importantly, do not wait for motivation to come on its own, but to act with small steps – it often returns along the way.
How to
achieve a balance between professional and personal life?
For me, the balance between professional and personal life is
a matter of prioritization and conscious choice. The key is in clear boundaries and the ability
to be fully present where we are most needed at the moment.
The true balance is not in even distribution, but in
conscious presence.
When is it time
to change our career, not just the job?
When we feel that even a change of workplace would not
bring back the feeling of meaning and satisfaction. When the passion has permanently disappeared
and our potential remains untapped. Then it is not just about a new
role, but a new direction.
If you had to
give just one piece of advice to people seeking success, what would it be?
Act,
even when you don't feel completely ready. True success comes with trials, errors, and the courage to expand your comfort zone.
What is your definition of a “successful career”?
A successful
career is one where you can use your strengths, create
value, develop, build upon
and last but not least - to
keep yourself in the process.
