When you are truly good at what you do, business becomes a pleasant game to play

For me, hierarchy is not related to a strictly established order, but to responsibility and leadership by example!

Introduce yourself in a few sentences..

I am Svetlozar Dimitrov, co-founder, shareholder, and executive director of euShipments.com - a leading company for e-commerce logistics in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The company operates with a network of 15 own and partner fulfillment centers in Europe, partners with over 60 courier companies, and provides more than 800 delivery methods.

Along with the strong organic growth of the company in the last three years, we acquired three similar logistics companies – in Romania, Slovakia, and Croatia. Thus, the formed logistics group serves e-commerce businesses from all over the world and of all sizes.

For three consecutive years - 2023, 2024, and 2025, the company has been included in the FT1000: Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies ranking, and in 2025 we were positioned as the fastest-growing logistics company in Europe in the Long-Term Growth Champions ranking by Financial Times and Statista.

Tell us what the philosophy and values of the company you currently represent are?

Our philosophy is to act as a true extension of our clients' businesses, providing innovative and scalable logistics solutions that enable online merchants to grow internationally with minimal operational burden.

Our core values include ethics, transparency, innovation, flexibility, and teamwork. My team and I strongly believe in maintaining high professional standards in every aspect of the business.

How long have you been developing your current company? What are the most valuable lessons that the events of this period have taught you?

euShipments.com was founded in 2012 and in these 13 years has grown into a logistics group with over 350 employees in 7 countries, more than 40,000 sq.m. of its own operational space and operations across the European Union and beyond. Over more than a decade, I have learned that adaptability, resilience, and putting clients and their needs first are crucial. Scaling operations in multiple markets, dealing with technological challenges, and managing rapid growth have taught me the importance of building strong, motivated teams and maintaining flexibility in a rapidly changing industry.

If you personally had to write a job ad, what would attract the attention of a future employee?

I would emphasize our international scale, career development opportunities, and dynamic projects in e-commerce logistics. The candidate who joins us can expect not only competitive conditions but also the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of european e-commerce logistics while also developing personally and professionally.

What does your company do to organize a constructive and beneficial working environment for everyone? Do people in the team need to be friends?

We promote an environment based on open communication, inclusion, and collaboration. Every team member is encouraged to share ideas, provide feedback, and take initiative. We organize team-building activities, promote a healthy lifestyle, and support sports and charitable initiatives that bring teams closer together.

What makes you enjoy going to work? How do you handle difficult and stressful moments?

What motivates me is seeing the company grow alongside our teams and clients - knowing that our work helps online commerce to expand across Europe. When you are truly good at what you do, business becomes a pleasant game to play.

What work model does your company adhere to – office or remote? What do you think about the possibility of offering options for flexible working hours, within which employees have greater freedom to balance their personal and work commitments?

In practice, we apply a hybrid model. Since our business is highly operational, for the most part, employees work on-site. We realize that flexibility helps employees balance their personal and professional commitments, which ultimately benefits productivity and satisfaction.

How do the ongoing global technological changes affect your business?

Technology is a driver of growth and innovation for us. We invest a lot of time, resources, and effort in our own logistics software, numerous automations, and integrations with e-commerce platforms. These changes make our operations more efficient and enhance our role as a high-tech logistics partner.

How important is hierarchy and what does it mean for you? What kind of communication do you advocate in your company?

We maintain a clear structure across the logistics group, with every employee having the opportunity not only to climb the hierarchy but also to relocate to other departments according to their interests, skills, and opportunities. Every employee is free to express opinions, share feedback, and report issues. For me, hierarchy is not related to a strictly established order, but to responsibility and leadership by example.

What is your career advice for all people building a strategy for their professional development?

My advice is to be adaptive and not to be afraid to take risks when opportunities arise. Success comes from persistence and the ability to innovate in a rapidly changing world. Do not strive to work for the big, but for the fast!
