Introduce yourself in a few sentences and briefly highlight your career development so far?

My name is Simona Belcheva- Fileva and by profession – and I hope by vocation – I am a lawyer. I started my career development while I was still studying. I have worked in a law firm and have gone through the entire series of positions – from intern to senior lawyer and department head. Since September 2025, I am also a founder and partner in a law firm.

What motivates you to take on this new role and what are your main goals for the position?

I am motivated by the desire to build something of my own – to create an environment that reflects my professional principles and understanding of good legal practice. And the fact that I am doing this together with people who are close and valuable to me makes this endeavor even more meaningful and inspiring. The main goals for me, and for the entire team, are for the partnership to offer not only quality legal services but also transparent communication with clients and mutual trust within the team.

What professional or personal qualities do you think will help you succeed in your new position?

I believe that attention to detail, good organization, and a practical approach are among the qualities that help me the most in my work. I am one of those people with calendars and tasks organized by colors and categories – this way I manage to maintain a clear structure and focus even in a busy daily routine. This way of working allows me to use my time effectively and to distribute it between professional commitments and caring for my children – a challenge that has taught me even more patience and flexibility.

What challenges do you expect to face and how do you approach change management?

The challenges in creating a new partnership are expected and inevitable – from organizational processes to building a unified vision. For example, right from the start, you realize how much attention every little detail requires – from building a website to organizational decisions that you initially don’t even consider. Nevertheless, I approach it with positivity and ambition that we will manage and successfully go through these stages.

What is your approach to teamwork and building a strong internal culture?

My approach to teamwork is primarily based on trust. I strongly believe that when people feel valued, heard, and supported, they give their best. At the same time, I think it’s important to have good organization and structure – to clearly outline the responsibilities and processes that make work easier and calmer. I believe that when we work as a unified team, we can achieve significant successes and ensure satisfied clients.

What would you like people to say about you in the company after a few months?

Currently, our partnership consists of three women, each contributing with her experience and skills. We have always understood each other wonderfully on a personal level, and now our relationships are beginning to build in a work aspect. I would like our connection to strengthen even more over time, to feel confident and motivated in our collaboration, and to achieve satisfaction.
