I earned my first money at eight years old while having fun with what I was doing

Before you want to make conclusions dictated by the ego – listen, put yourself in the position of the other side and show understanding!

Introduce yourself in a few sentences..

My name is Krasimir Lyudmilov Dimitrov and I am 46 years old – a citizen of the world. I am a universal professional dancer, choreographer, and director, mastering 16 dance styles. After serious world auditions among the best artists in the field of dance art, I had the honor to be selected and work for many years with some of the most prominent ballet artists, musicians, singers, choreographers, composers, directors, and producers in the world. I have worked in 12 different countries around the world side by side with choreographers, artists, and set designers from Todes, Construction Troops Ensemble, Lord of the Dance, Bulgarian Dream dancers – Lili Ignatova's Show, American Ballet Theatre, Slavi Trifonov's Show, Cirque du Soleil, National Folklore Ensemble “Philip Kutev”, Hurem Sultan and others.

I am the creator, ideologist, choreographer, director, and producer of Masters of the Dance – Masters of Dance.  My life is closely connected with dance from an early age and I can say that this is my calling and my destiny.

What did you dream of becoming in your childhood years?

At the age of 5, in kindergarten, when the teachers came to enroll for different types of sports and dances, I realized that I wanted to engage in dance art and since then I have never thought of betraying this “religion”.

At what age did you earn your first money? Tell us an interesting story?

I earned my first money when I was 8 years old. It happened that at the wedding of my relatives - I danced, leading the horo, but not just any horo, but the Graovsko, which allows for the demonstration of dance skills that I had learned, thanks to the individual lessons from my teachers and the solo roles entrusted to me in various dances. When the horo ended, many of the wedding guests came to congratulate me on my skills and many of them encouraged me with quite large banknotes, imported chocolates, and exotic fruits, which were a rarity at that time. To made me feel on one hand – special, on the other hand – awkward, because it was unexpected, as I was just having fun, without expecting anyone to appreciate it. I think this was one of the motivating moments when I realized that the hours of hard work and sweat in the studio pay off, and the meaning of continuing to build up is strengthened!

What are the main factors and examples that shape us as individuals at an early age and form our interests?

The main factors are to encounter true teachers, who in turn have encountered other true teachers before them, accepting their profession as a sacred cause and mission in life, because this is a sure way to ignite the torch of the student. Another main factor – is the unconditional support of the parents and the close environment of the individual, their patience and motivation. When you are in an environment surrounded by humble, respectful of others, seeking, motivated, achieving, disciplined, persistent, and truly grateful building individuals – success is inevitable. And when even one ingredient is missing from the recipe, success is delayed and distanced.

What is your recipe for curiosity, sources, and wells of information and inspiration at this stage of our human development?

In the profession and direction chosen by each of us, to create long-term curiosity, each one of us must create a constant routine of searching, researching, and reading books, articles, materials, autobiographies, films, and all kinds of inspiring stories of successful individuals from whom we draw inspiration, love, strength, and human virtues. My inspiration is my teachers now and my good students and all the good people making planet Earth a better place for us - the temporarily residing.

Has there been any significant difference in your perceptions in a more mature age about what motivates you to do or not do something?

Yes, of course. For me now, even more consciously and prioritizing everything I do, it is to cultivate virtues, high moral qualities, acceptance of different viewpoints, changing paradigms, and life-changing attitudes for the better in people.

Whose decision was it where to pursue higher education and what to study? Was this decision correct, looking at today?

My first dance teacher – choreographer Maria Lozanova, believed that I have an extraordinary talent and must necessarily engage professionally in dance and in sync with my mother's desire and my own to study in a special school, I applied and was accepted into the then State Choreographic School /DHS/ - Sofia, after which the logical continuation was to enhance my knowledge and skills at the Academy of Music, Dance, and Fine Arts /AMTII/ in Plovdiv, as a Bachelor - choreographer and Master – director.

I believe that my decision is correct and I have never doubted for a moment the right choice, for which I am extremely grateful to the Universe and fate.

Share more about your interests, knowledge, skills, and hobbies?

My interests are entirely related to art, as I love to mix different types of arts, which is an extremely complex process requiring a lot of knowledge, focus, concentration, and precision in the smallest detail, because the line between a genius product and stupidity is as thin as a hair. In recent years, I have been dedicated to directing and producing my dream – Masters of the Dance.

Would you change your profession today and which areas of activity capture your interest?

I would not change anything in my life because everything is the result of well-thought-out, precise choices.

They say that the personal brand is everything that people say about you when you are not in the same room with them. What would you like to hear today?

I would like to be recognized as a good and honest person!

Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and flexibility, as well as our soft skills are key conditions for success in recent years. How do you cope with the daily challenges of life to be in good shape and mood?

The formula is humility, forgiveness, and respect for different viewpoints, free time for family and close people, and a strong connection with nature, dancing, sports, meditation, and inspiring stories.

What are the most important conclusions you have made so far for maintaining proper communication considering the different characters of the people you meet daily – colleagues, friends, relatives?

Before you want to make conclusions dictated by the ego – listen, put yourself in the position of the other side and show understanding. Act soothingly and encouragingly to the interlocutor. Every living being seeks sympathy, understanding, respect, love, and good evaluation.

What do you think about money? What is their influence on your life? What is your advice to people who often ask themselves questions related to money and how sufficient they are?

Money is important – they are energy. The more important thing is what they will be spent or invested on. For me, money is just the tip for a job well done. The real and most important reward remains the satisfaction from the entire process. Excessive pursuit of high margins, profits, and fat bank accounts kills the pleasure of the game called business. The truth is in moderation. The greatest luxury remains peace of mind; everything else is vanity. You cannot buy the satisfaction of life with money; it lies in balance and v what you give.

What is the most valuable career advice you would give to people?

Under no circumstances lose the human and childlike in yourself along the way. After all, the entire life path is a rehearsal or training. Be diligent, humble, genuine, throw your ego out the window, and as much as possible – listen before you speak. Everyone prefers a good and honest person as a long-term companion, then a predictable and successful future awaits you.
