Our courage leads us to those who believe in us

No strategy can replace the spark of true motivation!
Introduce yourself in a few sentences..
Marketing manager at Hyatt Regency Pravets Resort, a place I have been
connected to since before the official opening of the hotel. A person of risk, of
search, of aspirations and stories – not only because I graduated in
"Journalism" at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", but also because
words are my tool for inspiration.
In the past year, I have also been involved in selling and donating unnecessary
items. I believe that sustainability starts with small, conscious choices. I am glad
that I can give new life to objects, I feel useful and engaged with
this activity.
What did you dream of becoming in your childhood years?
I did not have a classic childhood dream. It seems I lived in the present,
I was attracted to dynamics, events, art, and texts. And they continue to
be part of my work today.
At what age did you earn your first money? Share with us an interesting
incident?
At 15, I received my first reward – 100 BGN and a certificate for
written poetry. This moment taught me an important lesson: when you put your heart and passion into
what you do, recognition inevitably comes.
My first job as a student was on a crew in the USA, where I earned
my first serious income in life, and due to circumstances, I had to save a human life as well. During my studies, I gained experience in print and
digital media, and at 23, I started working at a PR agency - an environment that taught me
corporate professional communication.
What are the main factors and examples that shape us as individuals at
an earlier age and form our interests? What is your recipe for
curiosity, sources, and wells of information and inspiration at this stage of
our human development?
Teachers and support at home were the spark that awakened my curiosity.
Even today, I recharge from people who have walked a longer and more impressive
path than mine, observing their choices, thinking, and dynamics, which become
fuel for my development.
Has there been any significant change in your perceptions in a more mature
age about what motivates you to do or not do something?
Over time, my motivation has changed. Initially, I was driven by the people
who believed in me. A mentor wrote to me on my birthday: "You are a charming
future." These words are still with me. My first interview on camera, my first
conversation in English with a general manager, my first "Yes" in an international chain
– all these moments showed me that when someone believes in you, you start
believing even more in yourself. Today, I place alongside that the meaning and
value of what I do. Recognition is pleasant, but it has never
defined my choice.
Whose decision was it where to pursue higher education and what to study?
The decision to study journalism was entirely mine, conscious and inspired by
a random conversation in 10th grade, as I have always had an affinity for texts.
I applied without additional lessons and was accepted on the first ranking and first
choice, which confirmed that I was on the right path.
Was this decision correct, looking back today?
Even today, I do not regret my choice. I am one of those lucky ones who have
had the opportunity to engage in what they do well, without
unnecessary pressure from parents. The freedom, support, and trust they
gave me to walk my own path are invaluable to me. I thank them!
Share with us more about your interests, knowledge, skills, and hobbies.
I love to read, from books to posters in the theater and opera, because reading
gives me ideas and inspiration for the future. Folk dances energize me.
And traveling is my fulfilled desire every time I set off in some direction. And my current
job allows me to realize it.
Would you change your profession today and which fields of activity capture your
interest?
I would not change my profession, I work in what I love: communications with
a pinch of PR, marketing, and event organization. I do it with ease and pleasure
and always seek more dynamics and meetings with interesting people.
They say that personal branding is everything that people say about you,
when you are not in the same room with them. What would you like to hear today?
I believe and adhere to doing my job professionally, with
heart and dedication. Then the people around me will see or see my
capabilities, and I am not afraid of new responsibilities and achievements.
Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and flexibility, as well as
our soft skills are key conditions for success in recent years.
How do you cope with the daily challenges of life to stay in good
shape and mood?
I take experience from those who have walked the path I am already on or want to
start. Instead of dwelling on the negative, I seek the good in
every situation. I can recognize people's strengths and recharge
from communicating with them and the energy they bring.
For me, flexibility and adaptability mean reacting calmly and
effectively in unforeseen situations. I practice these skills every day because
I clearly know where I am, who is around me, what is sought in the equation, and what is
the solution.
What are the most important conclusions you have made so far about maintaining
proper communication considering the different characters of the people you meet
daily – colleagues and friends?
I have learned to be tolerant and open; ready to take responsibility for
my mistakes, but also brave enough to express my opinion calmly and with arguments.
Surely everyone has heard that friends are like psychologists, only without
a fee. They really are the crutch when we stumble, fall, or get hurt,
giving us support to stand up and move forward. I am grateful that
my friends come from different fields because I hear diverse opinions and
advice.
"The struggle is mercilessly fierce," as Nikola Vaptsarov says, but with them, it is
more pleasant to fight, I would conclude. I believe that harmony in life comes from
the balance between giving and receiving in relationships with friends and loved ones.
What do you think about money? What is their influence on your life? What is
your advice to people who often ask themselves questions related to money and
how sufficient they are?
Money for me is like water – it should be clean and wisely managed,
I use as much as I need. Over the years, I have learned that it is not wise to rely
only on one source of income; small investments or hobbies can
bring additional security and peace.
What is the most valuable career advice you would give to people?
1. Strategy is valuable, but
no strategy can replace the spark of
true motivation and the drive for development.
This inner strength is the best compass – it leads forward even in the most unexpected
directions.
2. Secondly, be free –
in both actions and thoughts.
3. Last but not least:
people who can believe in you and support you appear
unexpectedly – but if you are brave in your choices and actions, they will always find you.
