Human psychology: Why communication is also learned?
Introduce yourself in a few words.
My name is Sniijana Degtyarova and I am a co-founder of Smart Dynamix Group – an innovative SaaS platform created to facilitate the work of small and medium businesses from various fields that want to increase their customers and sales with the help of new technologies. The platform brings together tools for customer management, communication, automation, and overall process organization in one place. My role is to help people use technologies in a more intelligent and practical way, so that their business operates more easily, faster, and more structured, without investing large sums in this digitalization.
How would you describe your career in a few words?
My professional path is a series of lessons and growth. I realized that the first business does not necessarily have to be successful and that mistakes are part of the process. It is important to have the courage to stand up after every fall and not repeat old patterns. This allowed me to build a more resilient approach to work and my development.
What was the most important choice that shaped your path?
The most significant decision was to choose to leave something meaningful behind. To be useful to people and to build my own path instead of following someone else's trails. The decision to develop an independent business changed the way I view responsibility, freedom, and success.
What would you like to have known at the beginning of your career that no one told you?
That working with people requires not only professional skills but also patience, empathy, and knowledge of human psychology. Communication is a skill that is learned. If I had understood this earlier, I would have avoided many misunderstandings and unnecessary tension.
How can a person understand which profession is suitable for them?
By listening to what brings them joy. When an activity gives you energy rather than takes it away, that is a sign that you are in the right place. Interests, talents, and our natural inclinations are the most accurate compass.
Which skills do you think will be key in the next 10 years?
Adapting to new technologies. They will change the way we work, communicate, and organize our business. If we do not constantly learn and integrate new tools into our processes, it will be very difficult to catch up later. Technological literacy will be mandatory.
How to build a network of useful contacts without appearing interested?
By knowing your audience and speaking their language. When you have clarity about the people you want to connect with, contacts happen naturally. Not through pressure, but through mutual benefit.
What is the biggest mistake you have made in your career, and what did you learn from it?
For a long time, I tried to do everything myself. I did not delegate and did not use the tools that would make my work easier. I learned that delegation is a necessity, and technologies are not an expense – they are an investment in a lighter and more efficient process.
How to recognize a toxic work environment and when is it time to leave?
When motivation starts to fade, when there is no joy, development, or meaning. When everything becomes a repetition. Then the environment is no longer supportive, and it is time to make a decision in favor of yourself.
What would you do differently if you could start over?
I would build automation from day one. All processes – from the first contact with a client to final service – can be optimized as long as we start on time. This saves time, money, mistakes, and tension.
How to maintain our motivation during times of stagnation?
By giving ourselves a little break. Sometimes a few days doing something for ourselves is enough to return with a clearer mind and more energy.
How to achieve a balance between professional and personal life?
This is a skill that I am still developing. Balance is not a constant value – it changes according to the period, work, family, and our needs. The important thing is to remind ourselves not to forget about ourselves.
When is it time to change our career, not just our job?
When there is a lack of pleasure. When every day looks the same and we do not feel development. This is a clear sign that it is time not just for a new environment, but for a new path.
If you had to give just one piece of advice to people seeking success, what would it be?
To learn continuously. To develop, to build upon, and to never stop. Success is the result of persistence, not one-time efforts.
What is your definition of a “successful career”?
For me, a successful career is one that has balance, harmony, and a cause. When work brings satisfaction, when you contribute to something greater, and when you feel good about what you do.
