EOS Matrix: Stability Begins with Financial Literacy and Honored Promises
· Reni Mitkova - EOS Matrix Bulgaria

The company, which has been building a professional market for debt management in Bulgaria for 24 years, is developing new financial solutions for businesses and placing financial literacy at the center of its social mission!
Debt management is one of the neuralgic points of every economy - where financial discipline meets human reality, and decisions can mean restored stability, missed opportunities, or a new beginning. For over two decades, EOS Matrix has been working in this field, understanding that responsibility towards the financial system is inextricably linked to responsibility towards each individual business and client.
“Behind risk assessment and debt management are questions that affect everyone - what it means to make a commitment, what happens when a promise is not kept, who pays the price of bad debt, and how a financial system remains stable without losing the human relationship,” says Reni Mitkova, Chair of the Board of Directors of EOS Matrix.

From Startup to Leading Financial Investor
EOS Matrix started its operations in 2002 as Europe Matrix, and since 2005 it has been part of the international EOS Group – a leading financial investor with over 50 years of experience. From a team of five, the company has grown to over 200
employees and today manages more than 1000 own purchased portfolios with a balance of over 3 billion euros. But the real story is not just in the scale. It is in the way a company in a complex sector manages to build professionalism, standards, and trust.
“Perfection for us does not mean flawlessness, but honored promises,” is one of the principles that EOS advocates. When someone takes a loan, a promise stands behind it. When that promise is not fulfilled, the consequences do not disappear. They are distributed - onto creditors, onto honest payers, onto businesses, and onto the entire economy.
Therefore, the role of EOS Matrix is not just to collect debts. The company returns funds to the economic turnover, helps financial institutions manage their risk, and enables people in arrears to find a workable way out of a situation that often seems hopeless.
Listening to the Market
The only sustainable path for the development of any company is to adapt and respond to the real needs of the market. For EOS Matrix, such a niche is their new business line - bridge financing. It provides quick short-term financing secured by real estate and is intended for companies for which time is a critical factor in executing a deal, project, or investment opportunity.
“Our role is to provide not just funds, but timeliness – to ensure that a good deal or project does not fail due to lack of quick liquidity,” says Reni Mitkova. “Time is a strategic asset, and bridge financing is the tool that turns it into an advantage.”
The service is particularly important for sectors such as construction, real estate, manufacturing, and trade, where delays often mean missed deals. EOS Matrix offers financing from 1 to 10 million euros for a term of 12 to 36 months, with an average response time of about one month.
“Essentially, it is a short-term loan with a simplified procedure, with real estate accepted as collateral,” explains Emil Krustev, Deputy Executive Director. “We are actually the only ones in the market right now capable of financing in such amounts and so quickly.”
By 2025, the volume realized through the service exceeds 25 million euros, and interest in it continues to grow. Bridge financing is also an example of how EOS Matrix understands the market and turns business needs into specific financial solutions. The service is developed in partnership with the International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank Group, which further solidifies the company's role as a long-term financial partner in the region.
“Bridge financing does not replace banks – it complements them. While banking institutions are a good solution for long-term investments, we offer flexibility for the early stages of projects when time is crucial,” says Reni Mitkova.

Data, Technologies, and More Accurate Solutions
Debt management today cannot be effective without technology. EOS Matrix invests in digitization, automation, and data analysis to manage large portfolios more precisely and offer more personalized solutions. The company uses its own collection platform, based on over 20 years of expertise, implements electronic identification through Evrotrust, and develops AI-based analytics for process optimization.
By the end of 2025, EOS Matrix will also launch the client portal eosportal.bg – a digital environment where clients can check their file 24/7, request documents, and make free payments. This is an important step not only towards more efficient service but also towards greater transparency and control for people seeking solutions to their obligations.
The technologies at EOS Matrix do not replace the human approach. They support it. The more accurate the data, the more adequate the solutions can be. The clearer the process, the less fear and uncertainty there is for the client.
Financial Literacy Before Financial Problems
The image of EOS Matrix is not built solely on deals and innovative financial instruments. The company consistently places financial literacy at the center of its social mission. Its vision is for a financially healthy society with a high credit culture – a society where people better understand their personal finances, the risks of indebtedness, and the responsibility behind every financial decision.
This mission develops through educational initiatives, through the ManoMoneta foundation of the EOS Group, through Reni Mitkova's podcast “The Pocket” and through public discussions on topics that are often avoided – loans, debts, family finances, children's financial literacy, and personal responsibility. This is particularly important in a society where the conversation about money often comes too late – when the problem is already present. EOS Matrix emphasizes habits, informed choices, and the understanding that financial health is not a one-time state, but a culture that is built.
Trust Between Business, People, and the Financial System
In this sense, EOS Matrix does not just manage debts, but trust - between creditors and clients, between business and the financial system, between individual responsibility and public stability. Because the financial health of a society is not measured only by growth, investments, and lending. It is also measured by how we handle difficult conversations - about debt, responsibility, second chances, and honored promises.
