At the General Assembly meeting, the members of the Management Board of the association for the period 2026 – 2028 were also elected.
Svetlana Savova, managing partner of V+O Bulgaria SECNewgate, is the new chairperson of the Bulgarian Association of PR Agencies (BAPRA) for the period 2026 – 2028. Pepi Dimitrova, founder of the communication company PR2, has been elected as vice-chairperson of the association.
“I take on the chairmanship of BAPRA with gratitude for the trust and with the awareness of the responsibility it carries - towards colleagues, the profession, business, and society. We will build on what has been achieved so far with a clear goal: BAPRA to be a strong, visible, and authoritative voice of the industry, advocating ethics, setting and defending high professional standards, and having weight in its decisions. Our young colleagues will receive their platform and a real voice in determining our direction, because the future of communications is being built now and together with them,” shares Svetlana Savova.
The General Assembly of BAPRA unanimously elected the members of the new Management Board of the organization for the mandate 2026 – 2028. The board includes Iva Grigorova, managing director of MSL Sofia, part of Publicis Groupe Bulgaria and the current chairperson of BAPRA (2024 – 2026); Todor Yanev, managing partner of “Yanev and Yanev”; Alexander Durchev, founder and CEO of All Channels Communication Group and president of ICCO for Europe; Anelia Surlekova, founder and CEO of “Broks Vision”; Marin Aganderov, founder and manager of TalentMedia.
For members of the main composition of the Ethics Commission of BAPRA, Alexander Hristov, managing partner of Paragraph 42; Kamelia Dimitrova, manager of PR agency PR Play; Lyubomir Alamanov, managing partner at SiteMedia Consultancy, who was also appointed as chairperson. The reserve members of the commission are Stela Herrera, operational director of the communication agency Interimage, and Maria Gergova-Bengtsson, founder and CEO of United Partners.

Svetlana Savova has over 25 years of experience in strategic communications and consulting for companies and institutions. Her professional biography encompasses corporate diplomacy, institutional relations, communications during mergers and acquisitions, regulatory and licensing issues, corporate and crisis communications.
She holds a master's degree in “International Relations” from UNSS with a specialization in “European Integration.” Her education complements her professional experience with in-depth knowledge of the political and regulatory environment and its influence on business decisions and communication strategies in international markets.
