All digital agencies find ourselves in the "eye of the storm" of constant changes
· Konstantin Simidchijski

We are already 7 years old, which means I am a first grader too!
Introduce yourself in a few sentences..
My name is Konstantin Simidchijski and I am one of the founders of
CopyVibes - a digital agency specializing in content creation.
In the first phase of our development, we focused solely on
text content (copywriting & content writing), but at some point,
we started to specialize in the production of short-form video content for
social networks. Today, this is our main service and I dare say we are getting
better and better.
How many years have you been with the company? How do you
feel in it and what does this stage mean for you?
Our agency is already 7 years old, therefore I am already a
first grader too. I feel good in it; otherwise, I might have gone
for cigarettes and never come back, as happens in the well-known classic
narrative.
I define this stage as taking the first steps in the world of business because
the agency is my first successful venture as an entrepreneur. In fact, I should
use the plural here because I do all this with my wife - Stanislava Simidchiyska,
without whom everything would have been very different.
What are the most memorable moments or achievements from your time
here so far?
Instead of talking about some impressive achievement related to
a key client or significant success, I can point out that the most exciting moment
for me was receiving payment for our first issued invoice. I think the
amount at that time was something around 200 or 300 leva, or maybe even less, but
it felt like there were three more zeros at the back.
What motivates you to stay and develop specifically in this
organization?
For me owning a business is like a blank canvas - everything
depends on what you put on it to get the final picture.
It is certainly not easy, and weekends and hours sometimes totally disappear,
but there is a thrill in how far you can jump.
How has your professional path changed from the first day until now
– and what has it taught you?
My professional path changed most drastically in the summer of
2015 when I made the difficult decision to leave the secure job I had for
more than six years. Sometimes a person just feels that they need to
free themselves from routine, even if they don’t know what awaits them on the other
side of the sidewalk.
Subsequently, for a while, I embraced the romantic idea of
freelancing, which actually turned out to be not so romantic, but rather threw me
into a South American jungle, armed with a broken machete and
surrounded by starving wild beasts. But it was a useful experience for me because
I challenged myself in a completely different way.
However, for me, the most important thing is how my professional path
will change in the future because that is the only thing that matters. We humans
have the negative practice of staring too much into the past, often overanalyzing
it. Yes, I realize that this is a main livelihood for psychotherapists, but sometimes
it’s just not healthy.
What are your aspirations moving forward – both for yourself and for
the team or company you are part of?
My main aspiration is to start going on vacation without a laptop in
my luggage because, hey - how cool is it to have your own business, right?
But if I have to be serious, we, like all other
digital agencies, find ourselves in the eye of the storm of rapidly approaching (and already
arrived) changes. Without going back to Darwin's works and his theory of
the survival of the fittest, at the moment literally the entire digital
landscape is transforming fundamentally. Things that not long ago required people or cost
us hours of effort can now be done in a matter of minutes.
This means that somewhere out there, there may be your competitor who
has already adapted and is at least 1000 times more effective than you.
And finally, I would use the platform of CareerDailyNews.com to
thank each and every person from our team, without whom nothing and never would have
been able to happen. You are the real MVP!
