I like to start my new personal year with a new perspective
· Ekaterina Dimitrova

On my birthday, I wish not to lose the ability to be excited – even after dozens of meetings, hundreds of briefs, and countless presentations. There should be energy. There should be 'I want', not just 'I have to'!
On May 30, 2025, celebrates:
My name is Ekaterina Dimitrova and I am responsible for the branding of METRO Bulgaria. I work in strategic communications with a focus on building long-term value – both for the company and for the people behind the brand. For me, this means turning business strategies into a clear language that creates trust and sustainable relationships.
By tradition, I am on the move – this year in Belgrade. I am not running from something, I just like to start my new personal year with a new perspective. I do not make big plans, but I give myself time to adjust my inner focus – what is important to me, how I want to be present in my days. Sometimes that is completely enough.
The year was dynamic – in the company we went through a serious transformation towards B2B direction, which naturally led to a rethinking – of processes, roles, and messages. For me, this was also a personal moment of adaptation – to recalibrate my thinking so that I can keep the most essential of everything achieved so far, but in a new context. And this turned out to be valuable – to find a new support in something you already know.
I would like “Live in bulk” to become more than a slogan – into an idea that is recognized and experienced. For me, this means the company establishing itself not only as a leader in the B2B segment but also as a brand that creates value – not only in business but also in the way people think, choose, and live. My goal is for this transformation to happen with a clear message, with respect for people, and with a sense of direction – beyond daily tasks.
There is no greater power than being clear about what you believe in and following it. Over time, I realized that conviction is contagious – when you are internally engaged with what you do, people feel it. And vice versa – if it is absent, nothing can replace it. Authenticity cannot be simulated. And the courage to act in sync with it – that is the real difference.
I wish not to lose the ability to be excited – even after dozens of meetings, hundreds of briefs, and countless presentations. There should be energy. There should be 'I want', not just 'I have to'. And if I can inspire something in others – let it be this: that when you love what you do, your work can turn out to be even more beloved than a hobby.
