Test for you and your colleagues: How sincere are you? Is that how others see you?

Test for you and your colleagues: How sincere are you? And is that how others see you?
Everyone in the office thinks they are sincere… but would colleagues say the same?
This test is fun, provocative, and can be done with a sheet of paper and a pen.
It includes two parts: what you think about yourself and what others think you think.
Rules – read them before you start
To be fair, equal for everyone, and without “rigged” results:
📄 1. Each person prints
3 sheets for themselves:
- Sheet
A (1 copy) – “My true answers”.
- Sheet
B (2 copies) – “How I think [name] would answer”. (you will give them
to two different colleagues).
👥 2. Participants in
answering:
- You
fill out Sheet A – only you, without anyone seeing.
- Two
different colleagues fill out two separate Sheets B for you.
Example:
• Ivan fills out Sheet A for himself
• Maria and Georgi fill out Sheet B for Ivan
🔒 3. No one sees
the other’s answers in advance.
- You
keep your Sheet A hidden.
- Colleagues
fill out Sheet B from memory/feeling, without knowing your answers.
📊 4. How to score a point (1
pt.):
For a given question, you have 1 point, only if:
- Your
answer (Sheet A)
- Answer
from colleague 1 (Sheet B)
- Answer
from colleague 2 (Sheet B)
are absolutely identical – all “Yes” or all “No”.
If there is a discrepancy – 0 points for that question.
✅ 5. Final result:
Everyone collects their three sheets and:
✔ Counts how many of the 10 questions have full
matches (3 out of 3)
✔ This is their result
(0 to 10 points)
✔ Looks at which column they fall into:
|
Points |
Interpretation |
|
8 – 10 |
Extremely transparent. People “read” you accurately. |
|
5 – 7 |
Moderately transparent. Part of you is clear, another part remains
hidden. |
|
0 – 4 |
Either you are very closed off, or people do not read you at all. |
📝 The test itself – 10
questions
Mark only “Yes” or “No”:
- Have you ever said “everything is fine” when it is not? Yes/No
- Have you thought something negative about a colleague but kept silent? Yes/No
- When you disagree, do you say it directly? Yes/No
- Have you expressed an opinion just to be liked? Yes/No
- Have you exaggerated a success or failure to impress? Yes/No
- Have you withheld information to avoid tension? Yes/No
- If someone angers you, do you show it? Yes/No
- Have you criticized someone “to their face” instead of behind their back? Yes/No
- Have you admitted a mistake without making excuses? Yes/No
- Have you lied out of “politeness,” even if it didn’t harm anyone? Yes/No

🎉 Why is it interesting and
different?
✔ Not only whether you are sincere, but whether
people perceive you correctly
✔ No deception – the answers
are independent
✔ Fun, provocative, and debatable over coffee or lunch
✔ Everyone learns something about themselves, but also about how
they are perceived
Copy the questions and print two separate forms "A" for you and "B" for the selected two colleagues! It's time to start!
